Welcome to the Arizona Rangers History
Belgium
We are headquartered in Maldegem, a nice little town in the beautiful
surroundings of
the Belgium / Dutch border district.
We are a family oriented group -
our members and sympathizers are all ages
and from all walks of life.
We are a Historical Group and a non-profit, non-political,
non-racial organization dedicated to the true history
and heritage of the Arizona Ranger.
After a few years of Country & Western
dancing we had seen just about
enough and wanted to give our diversion a wider and more interesting view.
We are dedicated in keeping history alive in actual use of equipment,
clothes and weapons in an authentic camp setting
It's a misunderstanding that being dressed up that way you are also
impersonating
it correctly. Some knowledge off etiquettes from that period of time and
act that way is necessary as well. Conduct yourself likewise and you're
reenacting 'The Western History' more correctly.
With advise and the help from some more experienced reenactment groups
in the U.S.A. and Belgium we will make an effort to become a respected union.
Arizona Rangers History is the leading
part we follow and our main goal.
But we are exposed for all aspects connected to the history and development
of the State Arizona as special the Civil War- and Indian War period.
We aren't a minor thinking group and
respects everybody's leisure pursuit,
our association toward reenactment groups as too C&W dancing groups
is without comparison.
We only found out that both of these diversions can't be in one organization.
As part of our dedication to the
subject we are at this time in outstanding contact
with American bodies such as The Arizona Territorial Rangers Reenactment Group
1st HQ, Co A, Netcong, N.J., The Arizona Rangers U.S.A., the Belgium
Mississippi Cavalry 2nd Battalion Company B and several other
European and American reenactment units and individuals
not mentioned by name.
We like to thank all these organizations for there advise, support and confidence
by the foundation of our Union.
We also like to thank all the awarders for there permission using some of the
copyrighted graphics and music.
